Family Ties: A Journey of Conflict and Covenant

Over a decade ago, our church started on a journey to discover how God was calling us to love Christians who have identified as LGBTQIA+. Over the years, God has blended our community into a church family that includes gay and straight, conservative and progressive. Yet as we consider how our congregation might respond to same-sex weddings at our church, we realize that this continues to be a divisive conversation. Join our exploration of God’s vision for this church as we fight for unity in the midst of differing convictions! We will study the ancient community from Paul’s letter to the Corinthians as a way to contextualize our journey toward LGBTQ inclusion.
