Sports Ministry
Welcome to Sports Ministry. Our mission is to provide opportunities for EBCLA family and friends to experience the love and grace of Christ as well as to provide experiences for spiritual growth through sports related activities. Current events: Coed Volleyball open gym. All experience levels welcome... especially beginners. Tuesday nights from 7:45-10:45pm at Temple City Nazarene Church (cross streets Baldwin & Las Tunas). Children's Ministry
Evergreen-LA offers children's programs for ages infant-5th grade on Sunday mornings. During 1st service we have Infant-Toddler Ministry (ITM) for our youngest children, King's Kids (KK) for the preschoolers and Children's Church (CC) for elementary aged children. At 9:30 a.m. Sunday School (SS) begins with Sunday School Worship from 9:30-10:00 and Sunday School classes from 10-11:15 am. We have classes for all children from toddler to 5th grade. We do not offer any children's ministry during the 2nd service from 11:30am - 1:00pm, but we do have a Parent-Child Room above the sanctuary where parents can stay with their children and still be able to listen to the service.

Youth Ministry
Evergreen's youth programs for Jr. High and High School run on Fridays at 6:30pm and Sunday mornings from 10-11am.

Primetimers
The Prime Timers ministry is a fellowship group for everyone aged 55+. We meet for breakfast on the third Saturday of each month in the Worship Center Fellowship Hall at 8:00 for a time of singing, eating and special speakers. We also have outside activities such as deep-sea fishing, theater outings, Hollywood Bowl concerts, apple picking, the Palm Springs Follies, Christmas caroling, and other outreach opportunities. We have a few weekly Bible study (Sedaqah) meetings at church and also at the Keiro Nursing Home. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to visit. Temple Tutoring
Join a group of Evergreen volunteers who serve as math tutors at a local intermediate school. Become a positive influence in a young person's life! Tutoring happens in Rosemead from 9am-12pm on Saturdays. For more info contact Terry Mak.

Worship
The Worship and Arts division of Evergreen come together to embrace the musical talents of congregation to praise the Lord.

Playgroup / Parent Education Ministry
EBCLA offers a playgroup/parent education ministry for parents and their children (birth-kindergarten). We meet two Friday mornings a month at the church from 9:30-11:30 AM. Parents will gain an understanding of the developmental stages of children by engaging in meaningful activities with their children. By providing an atmosphere of openness, parents will be able to: build community, support one another, exchange ideas, learn new parenting skills, and cultivate the spiritual formation of their families. College Group
Sundays, 10:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. @ Worship Center Building Room # 211 (worship arts green room) Calling all College-aged students (18-22)! Come join us Sunday mornings for a class aimed specifically for your generation! We’ll be having discussions and Bible studies that tackle the issues encountered on the campuses of secular universities. Balancing both theology and reality, we’ll take an honest look at what we believe, so as to equip ourselves to lovingly engage with both evangelical peers and the unchurched world.
